Torridon Munros are our core business and remain so. We know them well and can be flexible to suit your level of experience and/or desire for challenge, along with the conditions on the mountain.
nineonesix-guiding has a high success in Torridon because of local knowledge and a team of experienced leaders here since 2003. Classic ‘coffee-table book’ routes or a more challenging scramble – the choice of dates and route is yours.

The black Cuillin on the Isle of Skye is home to the most challenging peaks in the UK, with diverse topography providing the perfect playground for mountaineer and walker alike.
If your objective is to complete the 12 Munros on Skye our guides will help you succeed. Tackling the ridge in smaller sections of two or three Munros at a time allows us to miss out the most technical climbing and provide the easiest routes to the summits, with the only section of graded rock climbing being a moderate route up the east ridge of the Inaccessible Pinnacle, the ‘Inn Pinn’.
Cuillin Ridge Traverse
A traverse of the Cuillin ridge includes 11 Munros over a distance of 12 km with over 4000 meters of vertical ascent and descent involving some challenging scrambling, some short pitches of rock climbing and a number of abseils
The experience of our MIA qualified guides and their knowledge of the ridge gives us a high record of success on this challenging alpine scale route.
We would aim to complete the ridge over two days with an overnight bivi high on the ridge.
An Teallach and the far north west
Along with the Aonach Eagach and Liathach, An Teallach is one of the ‘must do’ ridges on the mainland. Why not get nineonesix-guiding to help you make this traverse and increase your chances of success? We’ve also guided the likes of Stac Pollaidh and Suilven.
Lochaber, Glencoe, Kintail, the Cairngorms and beyond…
Because of the unique location of our team, nineonesix-guiding are also available to guide clients along the CMD arete on Ben Nevis, the Aonach Eagach and Kintail’s Forcan Ridge. Fiacaill Ridge in the Cairngorms is a popular route for a first visit to the Plateau. Perhaps you have some awkward Munros remaining before a compleation? Let nineonesix-guiding take care of the logistics and route finding in spectacular areas such as Monar and Mullardoch.
